I appreciate the warm welcome. I went to Reliable Chevrolet to get some parts. This new ZR1 is sitting on the showroom floor. They're asking $160,000. David (parts) told me they sold one at the beginning of the year. They guy let his 16 year old drive the car with him riding shotgun. His son just got his driver's license. He rear ended a truck. The damage was over $40,000 and took 5 months due to no parts/air bags to rebuild.

$16000 is way over the top They are now showing up at the car dealer auctions for less than $100,000 range I looked at one in Henderson Nevada last month he wanted 130k still too much The can be bought on ebay for 110k range. Much bdtter car than the ford Gt I would drive this car across the country a fordgt now way. I was looking at buying one almost did in henderson

Its cool on paper, but their execution sucks. Its ugly as hell, a c6 z06 looks 50 times better.

You could buy a z06 supercharge it and spend way less. I bet those ZR1 badges cost $5,000 each. I don't know about that hood/intake/supercharger though. I think those are like 50,000 each making the price justifiable.... lol

You would think the dealerships would want to sell these cars. The mark up is ridiculous. They all have done it. The worst was Rich Ford asking $350,000 for the GT 40. The new camaro's are being marked up too. I can see a little mark up. But, this is ridiculous.
