I have an 05 YFZ450R Quad and the motor needs rebuilt. It spun the Crank bearings. Dont have time to do it and really have know Idea how. Head and Jug are off. I need someone that knows(really knows not just thinks they know) to rebuild it. Not sure if I should go aftermarket big bore or just go stock. Stock parts are more exspensive than aftermarket (thats a first).
Suggestions!!!!!

get a stock aftermarket replacement crank from hotrods or wiseco. i wouldnt do the stroker crank as you wont notice a huge diffence in power but will have to run race gas. as 1badfz stated its not that hard or time consuming to do should take 2 good night to rebuild.

Thanks for the info. I didn't think it would be that hard to do it just when you work on other peoples stuff all day, it hard to find the motivation to fix you own stuff!!! I will check out the hotrod cranks and see what they offer.
