Everyone that has a ls1 or had one wants a cummins. I would stay with a 5.9 they stopped them in 2007.5 the new 6.7 is junk and very expensive to mod. post it on the cumminsfourm.com I saw a few add awhile back along theses lines good luck

6.7 is not junk, and not expensive to mod. DPF and EGR delete and your good to go with a number of different tuning options. Also, way better stock tranny.

The 6.7's are definitely not junk. I've put 30k miles on mine so far and have had no issues. Tranny is stronger and it gets much better fuel mileage than my 5.9 did. Plus it has an exhaust brake stock lol

YOUR one of the lucky one I have towed them things left and right. most of the mech. that work on them hate them. I heard the trannys are better but if you remove the emissions shit if voids warrenty.

Lucky me I'm a Dodge dealer.. we don't see these trucks in service unless they are getting oil changes.. if you don't follow the inst. in the owners man. about how to warm the truck up and cool it off with the emissions how they are you may have problems with the particulate filter. The variable vane tech on the turbo will get carboned up.. other than that they are MONSTERS!! :pimp: if there weren't so many tree huggers in the US we could go back to hi sulfer content and billowing black smoke powerfull diesels and ditch all this emissions stuff..
