Well some may or may not know but last month we had an expert track grinder come out and do some work on the track. most of the work came out great, but there was some problems with the concrete in the right lane. The concrete was just too old and starting crumbling. We hoped with some track prep that it would get better, but it got worse.

So yesterday we ripped up about 150 feet of concrete in the right lane. New concrete will be poured this week and racing will continue this weekend.

We are committed to making this track an excellent place for everyone to race.

Wow. That is awesome. Are the rumors that I have heard that the track will be staying there for a while now true?
All that I know is for sure is that we will be at the current location untill the end of 2010...beyond that I can't say. We are working hard to keep drag racing in the Albuquerque area.
Ahh thats cool.
When we walked the track on Saturday the right lane seemed to be stickier. Good to know that it will be even better.
I thought it felt stickier too when i walked on it, but watching the cars run the left definately hooked better.
Awesome. Thanks for keepin' that place alive.

Oh. well nevermind then lol. last thing I heard before i left was that it took the rear.
I thought it took out the rear at first but its the glide. The left lane was definitely working well that night lol.
yeah it was definately hooking. 1.5 60's were no problem
Glad to hear the track will be around a bit longer and hopefully beyond 2010!
