Anyone have experience with the wavetrac diff? I’m getting ready to order my new 9” from Midwest chassis and need some advice. I don’t want a spool because I like to drive my car around town. I have looked at the trutrac and a posi but it seems they both break too easy. I would get a spool if it was just a drag car but that is not what I want. I just want an 11 sec street car that I can drive and have fun with. I’m thinking about the wavetrac because it has a lifetime warranty but I don’t know anyone who has one and with the extra cost it is hard to pull the trigger. Any advice is appreciated Thanks

I decided not to take the cheaper route for once in my life so the price is not a big issue. I heard the locker can be a pain in the ass sometimes on corners and the slack can mess with the tranny form the locker slipping in and out. And I too have heard good things about the wavetrac but was hoping someone may have one around here so I could get some real experience feedback and maybe a ride.

all you god damn pansies. put a ****in spool in it and shut the **** up haha
I would but I love to take a sweet mountain drive at high speed every now and then. And I thought if I did the spool I would end up tearing my car apart and turn it into a drag only car and I don't want to end up there

You know I was just laughing at my self when I realized I still have your 10 bolt.

Heh...well yeah. I just didn't want to be breaking a damn locker after spending some cash on a rear end. That's why I went this route.

I agree that is why I started thinking about the wavetrac. I can still drive fast not only in a straight line and it has a life time warrenty. But it is $460 more than the posi
