so i have a dodge magnum r/t and i have been told by more then a few people that a simple tune on the car will release over 40 hp and 55 ft lbs of torque. i was wandering if anyone here in town had a tuner for this car and could tune it or is it something i would have to buy and always have the tuner connected to the car.

lol where did you get that price? Most vendors for the LX platform have them for 300ish including shipping, power cable, and usb/RS232 adapter.
Go to Ron's site The SRTConnection and you will get all the help you need on tuning your car.
Thanks for the plug in, brotha. haha

Now, to answer your question. The only tuner available for the LX platform is the Diablo Predator. Since you are not mildly modded, the canned tunes that Diablo provide are great. You are not going to see such a huge gain as you have been told, but you can see up to a 30rwhp gain with the canned tunes.

You can squeak a lil more out of it with a CMR tune, but those are kind of pricey.

No one in ABQ has the CMR software for the Chrysler tuning, yet. Go to my forum and check out Stack Performance, BMC, RDP, for your Predator needs.

If you have any questions about mods or your car in general, don't hesitate to ask.

Yea, if you use N2O, you will need a CMR tune. Go see Chris Groves for dyno time. When you are ready, let me know and I will hook you up with the BEST LX tuner in the country. You guys can email the dyno charts and datalogs and the tune.
