F1-R's will support up to 1200. F2-Rs up to 1600, F3s up to 2500, and F4's 3200+

What makes the YSi bad ass is the physical size, and the way it throws power down early IMO.

Agreed that the Ysi is a very nice unit. Pro Charger is the way to go in my opinion. I know an F-1R can support well over 1200hp. Jason Lee races in NMRA drag radial. He runs the F-1R with a 360ish cubed small block. He just ran a 7.5x at MIR. I am not good at math, but that takes some power.

^^^ Thats a twi F-2 crank set up from the supercharger store in AZ. Baddest dudes in the U.S. as far as crank mount blowers.

My YSI ate shit Monday. Bearings went out or something. ~7-8k miles on it. $800 minimum to have vortech rebuild it. Not happy. Plus the 4-5 weeks of down time right when it is time to go play before it is too hot outside.

Interesting.

I was considering adding a ysi to my new big cube engine sometime in the future but I may reconsider.
