how many pounds of boost can i run in albuquerque on a d16z6 stock block with a 16g tubo. Because i know the max psi that people usually say is 10 pounds but most of those guys are at sea level and were up 5000 feet above sea level. so wouldn it be different here?

15+ psi

If the tune up was there, obviously.
Take it to Solid Tech and let them tune it. To me it's how about how much power, not how many pounds of boost.

You sir, are absolutely correct.
right now it has a street tune and its a pretty good one. So are you sure i can run 15 pounds have you seen any one else go that high on this engine with a stock block in albuquerque? I know The 16g turbo is pretty small so it would make sense if i could go that high but i just wanted to make sure

Put the car on the dyno and gradually up the boost until you make desired power.. that way you can continue looking at A/F to make sure it stays safe rather than just cranking up the knob on the street and hoping. Great way to blow up your motor.
Every car and every set up is different.
