It could give you acouple extra hp. It really just removes back pressure which helps your turbo spool quicker resulting in better throttle responce. I would do it just because I dont Give a F***.

+1 i haven't had mufflers on my car since 2002 and I have never gotten an exhaust ticket in ABQ.
