Couple months ago I had Chris at the Dyno Edge change the gearing in the car and work his magic on the dyno. Now the car makes more power than I can use. Just wondering what you guys think?
My setup:
Stock block 331ci
Garrett T-61 (15psi droping to 12psi)
Tremec 3550
and all the other upgrades needed to make it work

SAE - 611rwhp 758 rwtq

Uncorrected - 501rwhp 621rwtq

As you can see the turbo is running out of air, but it makes for a great power band for getting from here to there.

For those that don't know, this is my car:

Thanks guys. Its great fun to get around in, but actually very hard to drive. The turbo comes on so soon and fast that breaking loose becomes a concern. I have 18" MT ET streets on there now, but it still fights for traction. Of course high way pulls are tons of fun.

Its a '94 pushrod 5.0L motor stroked out to 5.4L
Ported Edelbrock heads
Trick Flow intake
Ed Iskenderian custom turbo cam

Is that just the standard 5.0 block? I'd imagine it is but i'm not sure. Damn you are making me want to turn mine up but everyone tells me that those power levels are asking for a broken block.

Just a standard block with forged internals. I know I'm hitting the limits of the block, but I just don't get on my as much. Although I really want to take it back to the track and see what it will run with 100 more rwhp and better gearing. BTW, my best time at the track was [email protected] before the gears and tune.

Shit you may have convinced me.. I have a stock 5.0 block stroked to a 347 with forged internals with a T-67. Car made 431rwhp UNCORRECTED and went 10.0 multiple times. I've been scared to up the boost in fear the block may let go. But the hell with it, if your motor makes it through the next 2 weeks then I may have to experiment with 13-14psi

That's some pretty good power. What were your 60 ft's like with those bottom 12 passes? I really wanna take my car back to the track and see what it will do leacving with boost since I have a 2 step now.
