I figured whatever project (Foxbody, or my IROC) I start on when I get back to the states is definetly going to be LS1 powered, so might as well pick one up to have it ready to tear into when I get home! Found one in Boulder CO. which is where my uncle lives and he offered to pick it up and hold on to it until I can get it.:woowoo:
Here's the Specs,
2000 Trans am WS6 LS1, A4 car, was hit on the passenger side door and totalled. The good part is, the car only had 12,000 miles on it!!!!!
The Engine came with all the accessories, wiring harness, PCM, and the guy gave me $100 worth of repair manuals and books on the LS1. He also installed the Corvette coil/valve Covers on the engine, so he gave me those to. The Engine is 100% stock. Here is the Pic my uncle sent me.
:driving:
So I am off to a good start on parts for this thing already, (rotating assembly, cam, heads) and I am sure the pile of parts at my house is going to piss my parents off pretty good. lol Oh Well!!!!!
