The Roswell Facility has acquired a new owner and will have a full racing schedule in 2010. Get those hot rods ready to do some local drag racing. Word has it there will be a couple of test and tunes in March and some very special events for the upcoming season.

I have been approached by the new management regarding the No-Bull series. I would like to see one or two No-Bull races back in Roswell. The cars run great down here and it could be a lot of fun.

Bring those cars to Roswell and break some records!

The guy from Hobbs as I understand it. I believe his name is Reid or similar. He will be looking for input from the Roswell Drag Racing Association regarding classes, special events, etc. It is a good move for the facility no doubt.

I believe NHRA as the other two tracks he owns (Hobbs & Witchita Falls) are NHRA. I understand he is wanting to hold an NHRA Divisional race which sparked his interest in the Roswell facility.

The Wichita Raceway Park, Wichita Falls, TX (midway between Amarillo and Ft. Worth) has the NHRA Summit Racing Series.

That is good I think, I heard the track in Hobbs is top notch, I never made it down there but I think he is pretty cool teching your cars and does not throw you out for mph over tech. This is what the street scene needs, I can see some no bull action coming to Roswell hopefully. I was thinking of buying the track, I was going to throw that NHRA bullshit in the trash where it belongs.

that would have been the shit if u bought it.tsc track lmao
I was the first that they notified, I really did not want it but we could of had some fun with it, if it was not stupid priced it would of happened, lets just say it was more than a chunk of change for nothing but electronics, the land is city owned, buildings were city owned, and there was not much for what they were asking, so I am glad someone else picked it up.:pimp:

Boy what got you up so early Rex or still partying from New Years.
I live in Cruces now and the trip to Roswell is about the same to Albq.
They just built a new track in El Paso and its pretty much a outlaw track only problem is the shut down is short but I heard they are working on that, also the pits suck but what the hell its all concrete and I can run it out:eek:ldman:

No I had to do a 36 hour continuous frac job on New Year's eve, so I brought in the New Years with a Halliburton frac crew, oh well, I have to be able to pay the light bill right?

I would be down to come to El Paso, there is some serious cars there and the racing scene is huge, they used to have huge straight up racing out at the old airport and the turn out was huge, no insurance or NHRA BS. I hope things are going good for you in Las Cruces, I like that town as well, I went to college there and enjoyed it. Stay away from the border, they might take your skittle and start selling chiclets out of the trunk!
