"Seller puts old junker on ebay having no idea the car is a 1 of 6 factory race car with a $4000 buy it now."

" heard from a guy in Ohio that a buddy of his was on the phone with the seller and offered $1000. The seller agreed but during the call the bid jumped to 3k. Someone must have called and told him what he had because the BIN went away and he offered to let anyone who bid before the 2nd to back out of the auction"

$80,000? Shit. He's gonna get a lot more than that. You see some guy offered him $160,000 cash in the questions and the dude said no because he wouldn't end the auction early? Lucky bastard!
AHAHAHA!!! Someone just offered him $500,000.00 and he said no...wtf?
So im an idiot and dont know the legacy of this car? So whats the big deal, the original engine, tranny, etc arent in it, so its a shell worth serveral hundred thousand dollars?

Wow...whats so special about a shell, and a rusted shell at that. Looks like any other rusted lemans shell
The car is a factory experimental race car. Pontiac made 6 yes SIX of them and 6 station wagons - EVAR. So this car is one of 6 EVER MADE. That is as rare as it gets. There is a very interesting article linke in the ebay auction. The Hemmings Motor article. Worth a quick look.
Gotcha...so the engine...who cares...drive train...same...the shell is the gem!! Still an idiot...but i get why its so rare
Insane, but in this world, the only true collectibles are items that can't be duplicated. Who would imagine that pile of junk being worth so much without the back story? Some collector is going to be very happy.

Only in America!

Ok, so its a rare 1 of 6 prototype race car...without an equally rare motor or drivetrain. So even by buying this rare shell itll never be restored to its glory since one of the 6 motors and drivetrains are gone. Now what it is, is a rare shell, which looks like all the other lemans shells that cant truly be restored. Im not seeing why thats worth so much.
Im sure the engine and drivetrain werent one off's im sure so they probably dont hold the value down to much...the shell is what is the rare part. Sure the drive train would help to increase value, but its a cool car none the less.
Only 2 Hours left!!! $90,050!!
