Have you drained your water separator lately? Try that and see if it helps. Let me know....
With your mention of the clicks behind the dash I would stand behind this analysis. Powerstrokes hate starting without fully charged batteries. It will crank but never start. Give it a really good jump, new batteries, or a good charge and it should fire right up. Seen this happen numerous times, I have sold diesel trucks for over a year now.I know you say it cranks just fine, but this sounds like a battery issue to me. I would give the batteries a good charge or just check them for volts. Diesels need a good strong charge to start up more than your average gas engine.
