does the person that posted these pics leave out phx??

Yep, sure do. I'm a New Mexico transplant. I grew up in Albuquerque, but managed to get out of the Land of Entrapment after 23 years. :headbang:

Nice rides.

Is that your orange Charger in the pics? That ****er's BAD.

Do people still go to The Pavillions off Indian School on Sat? That was a freaking cool deal, we went 3 times last year!

nice pics....don't know why, but that convertible IROC used to be on my all time want list, but in that blue that it used to come in.:headbang:
Me too! I used to have a white '90 IROC and really miss that car! I'd have a really weird collection if I had the money! My car, '57 Fury, 91-92 Z28, '57 Ford, '70 Superbee, new Challenger SRT... just to name a few! Come on Powerball!

oh nice. i use to live in avondale. i go out there alot. im actally trying to get out there in march to take the car to fire bird or speedworld
I'm shooting for the first weekend in March, Friday night drags at Firebird. If you make it out; shoot me an email before hand and I'll meet you at the track. Grab a couple of those Rio Rancid guys and bring them with you! PINKS is out here in December. Might be something for you guys to put on your calendar?

There were 2 orange '69 Chargers in the pics. Mine is the Pro-Street one with the primer 6-pac hood. Yes, people still go to the Pavillions. It's the longest running car show/cruise night in the country!

Yours is the one I meant.......bad ass.

It would be awesome to have a group convoy over there for the Pavillions during the day and the Sonic cruise at night. Are they far apart?

The PINKS events are awesome! I've been to 2, but this will be the first trying to get on the show. I haven't been to the 87th ave meet, it's a good distance from my house (70 or 80 miles).

Great pics, as always, Greg.

I see you got Hal's wifes Mustang. Hal tells me you guys chatted for a while last night? One of these months I am going to make this M&G.
Thanks Ron! Yep, got to talk to Hal for a bit. Good guy! Let me know when you plan a visit. I'd love to see the car and finally meet you in person. Us MOPUD guys need to stick together!

Thanks man! It's a little rough in person, but I'm hoping to get some paint and new interior in it this summer.

The Pavilions is definitely a bigger event and we don't pretend to compete with that group. Our show is local to the East Valley, a lot smaller, and we only do it once per month for that exact reason (Don't want to compete with Scottsdale). If you guys get a chance to come out let me know and I'll try to hook you up with a good list of automotive activities during your stay. The Mesa cruise and downtown Phoenix Central Cruise are also pretty fun/impressive! Lots of cars, some street racing and burn outs. Heck, I got to see a nostalgia front engine dragster (nitro) pull out onto central (Phoenix cruise) and light them up at a stop light.

Thanks again for the kind words all!

Greg

I'm shooting for the first "Friday Night Drags" in March. I was hoping for February, but they're not running any due to the NHRA events.
