I was adjusting my valves and #5 cylinder valves were loose so i reset the lash and started the car and it still did'nt sound right. Also noticed oil in the intake runners,so pulled the intake off and found out lifters in #5 are pitted and also seen where oil was leaking around bottom of the intake.
So now the motor has to come out and the heads have to come off because you can't get the lifters out ****ing fords:banghead: pull the cam and see how bad it is.
Wife came out into the garage and just rolled her eyes and i said it could have been alot worse if i had'nt caught now.
Good luck to everyone and be safe and have fun:eek:ldman:

Glad you caught it in time, but sad you won't have it together in time for Saturday. Or will you? Midnight thrash FTW!!
No won't be any more Midnight thrash:eek:ldman: Looks like there is some damage to the cam and the lifter. Going to get ahold of comp. cam to se if they can fix the cam. So the car will be down for at least a month. Just glad i did'nt just adjust the valve and ran it:no:
