NHRA requires that all cars that run quicker than 9.99 seconds or faster than 135 mph be certified every 3 years. NHRA will be sending an inspector to Albuquerque Dragway for 2 days to certify and re-certify any cars that need this certification. To help ease the wait time for the racers on the inspection day, you must contract us to make an appointment. The cost is $150 payable to NHRA.

Edit: Saturday March 14 and Sunday March 15th.

Please contact Albuquerque Dragway at [email protected] for an appointment.

Other cities that have inspectors:
There used to be a guy in Lubbock 300 miles, but I am not sure he is still there.
Phoenix 450 miles
Tucson 450 miles
Denver 450 miles
Las Vegas 600 miles
Tulsa 600 miles

Also I believe that El Paso is going to become a NHRA track, so they will probably have a Chassis Cert Day as well.

There are inspectors at every NHRA divisional and national events. It is best to contact the division director to make sure they can do it on that weekend.
