very scary place for sure.

I know a few guys that work the north and south that say you can see lights on in there at night, and there hasn't been power in that building for years. A lot of wicked things went on in that place and not just from the riot. It has been closed since 1997 and they still find shanks in there.

those are cool pics!! my dad works at the jail in santa fe he has this facination for jails/prisions. he took us a couple of years to the Colorado Territorial Prison Museum and Park. it was so cool to see all kinds of historical landmarks. they had the huge window that was part of that huge riot that happened in santa fe nm awhile back the prioners couldnt even break throught it haha

if any of you get a chance go check out that museum if you are in colorado.

The picture of the gas chamber is spooky..
I went to the old Idaho State penitentiary once and saw the gallows. It gave me the chills being in that room.

Thanks to all I hope to go again soon 2 hours was not enough at all. When the did longest yard movie up there they left all the ad on sets there. watch towers and other buildings.
