Hey guys,

I have been lurking around the forums for quite sometime. Have read some insightful conversations along with some serious arguments. To be quite honest, I look forward to be a part of this community along with my slow 4 banger. On the other hand, this place seems to be more subtle than RSW. Enough with that and here is what I am here with:

2003 VW GTI (Only Mk4 with the Fahrenheit Magma Orange Repping from ABQ).

- Godspeed Front Mount
- Autobahn88 Turbo Inlet
- Forge 007 N75J
- 3" DP
- 3" Turbo Back Exhaust
- Revo Stage 2 software
- 4 Bar Fuel Pressure
- All the works on the suspension... Bilstein , H&Rs, Anti Sway Bar, Upper and Lower Struts etc. etc. etc.

Never been to the dyno, don't know what it runs in a quarter mile. Can't be crazy, but good enough for me.

- 2007 Zx6r - little modifications done.

Hey man, welcome. That yellow/black looks really good together. What all does the Stage 2 Revo stuff change (I'd look but their site is down)? Oh, and I have a 636 as well, not quite as minty as yours though...

Hey thanks man.

The Revo Stage 2 software basically ups the boost from 11 pounds up to 22 pounds depending on how you actually fiddle with your SPS Select Plus (if you have one, what it is is basically a separate tuner that allows you to mess around with boost, timing etc.).

Right now I am on 16 pound spike and coming down to about 10 pounds which is extremely mild knowing that I am still capable of going up higher. However, I still have that tiny little baby turbo, which means it is usually running out of breath quite fast (specially with our altitude). My future plans (maybe within the next 2 months) is to go for a GT30 setup and finish her up.

I like your 636 regardless and your Cobra. By the way, was that bike always naked, or just recently. I remember riding with someone last summer who had one the same color but was not naked. Had small stubby like mirrors.

Good info. I bet you're looking forward to that GT30, eh? I bought the bike completely stock (5k miles, excellent condition) about a year and a half ago with the intentions of stripping it and wrecking it, which I've been very successful at! Never had mirrors. I just might bring it out on the street this summer. The 60 tooth should be good for about 500,000rpm at 35mph in 6th...

Big turbo VW sounds like fun !!!!
I know, I have been contemplating it... I have to do some internal work and I have some miles on this motor. However, I have had the car since 2004, and as of right now she has over 100k miles. Obviously, many would say don't do it. But the car has been babied, highly maintained and kept fully serviced before anything (still will rebuild that motor before anything).

She is fun as of right now, much faster than anything I have had. I want to come out to the call out day (never know when they are, and I know too many LS1 plus will be their) and run against some faster cars to see where I stand as of right now. I have respect for anyone with any car, and I rest assured I am not a 10 second car, but I enjoy it while it lasts.

LOL, although I don't remember flying on Paseo past 90 for any reason; something tells me I was acting stupid. On the other hand, thank you guys for the warm welcome, it feels good to be on here finally. The color of the car is the one and only on a 4th Generation GTI. I guess I wanted to be the first to jump on this before anyone in the world can claim it. Still no one has had the chance to catch up. Albuquerque is representing when it comes to ABQ Dubs.

On the other hand, once again, thank you all and if anyone knows of the upcoming meet, I would love to roll through with a couple of friends. Although I am hoping it is not full of the original time to time ricer based kids who are looking to cause some issues.
