David got his 2500 pound Noble M400 back with a dyno sheet from the engine builder showing 630rwhp. The last time I raced him he had only 500 rwhp and from 30 mph I held him off till he walked by me when I was at 115. So... with him up by 130 more rwhp I expected a major rape. Didn't happen. We went from 30, I opened a 1 car lead and never lost it. I lifted at 130 with him still a car back.:headbang:

He's gonna have his tuner look at it, he should have left me for dead.

Chevy says 3132 full of fluids. It's a Z06 which is about 200 pounds lighter than the regular coupe.

In truth, it was to see how David's car was REALLY running because we had run together before. No grudge, just for fun.

I'm always game to some fun runs, but (excuses coming) we all smelled my clutch slipping (WOT top of third) on the run with the Noble, it's going, going, soon gone. I have an upgraded clutch on order. I'm in, just bring a tow rope, I may need it.

holy crap I just realized how light that car is.. now I'm confused, that thing should be damn near the fastest car on the road making 630hp at the wheels and weighing in at 2500 pounds. Something must be wrong or your z06 is just ridiculously fast..

this coming from a guy that runs 10.0s trapping over 135 consistently in a car that weighs around 2600 pounds making 430rwhp

He wasn't spinning. He was on Toyo R888 R compound race tires, they were hooking up good. The only answer that fits is that it isn't making the power he was told. I was told the builder took it to the dragstrip before shipping it here and it ran an 11.0 in the high 130's, 137 or so.
