2x4 or 4x4???
2x4 it has a 355 with some aluminum vortec heads a torkerII intake a big cam long tubes a 3200 stall 3.73 gears with a spool and a 150shot to get the weight rolling, i have not drove it in about 4 years but it was quick for what it was, i never ran it but im guessing it would have ran around a 13.80-14.0 on motor and some where in the 12.50 range on the bottle i just lost interest in it when i got my D-MAX

Old trucks are great! Lot's of nice potential you have there. I have an '87 Ford (I realize it isn't a Chevy). Has the advantage of already having a 9-inch (Dana 60) in the rear, with a carbed 460 and a 4-speed. Very fun to drive! You have to pay to play though with the gas mileage being what it is.

I like it! Plenty of potential. You can fit a HUGE tire on those things with little to no suspension work.
