Well ive bwen riding since i was 14. Started with dirt bikes and now ive got my stunt bike,an r1,and my harley.Well i got pulled over but i never bothered to take the class at the dmv..cop was real cool no tickets or anything and we bullshitted about the bike and he just told me go get your endorsement.So my question is what is the road test like for the dmv and what gear if any is needed seeing as state law requires no gear but others have said i need helmet and boots? Ive heard theres a written test and a road test.Anybody wanna chime in with some advice thanks

Check out https://training.msf-usa.org/RES/street/enroll/streetintro.aspx for the schedule or email [email protected] (the local MSF guy) with questions. You sit in class for a few hours and drive around a parking lot. You do need a helmet, jeans, over the ankle boots, gloves and a jacket of some sort.

sweet thanks...is that site the same as the ne from the dmv class...i heard all u do is take a test and if u pass they will schedule u for a road test in some parking lot and its only a few hour course with a bunch of people depending on how many go

That's the site to see a schedule for the actual MSF classes. Maybe since you already know how to ride they have some sort of quick test you can take. :shrug:

i passed the road test with a 100% on a 66'' lowered bike that does not turn for shit, just take your time, im not sure if you have to wear gear just eye protection i think i could be wrong

yea i know how to ride...guess ill head down to the dmv tomorrow and see what they say...i got lucky with no ticket i cant afford for my insurance to go up

shit same here i made it 3.i would have split since i still have a temp take except for a was on my harley and it was a bike cop that pulled me over so running(which isnt safe anyway) probably wouldnt have worked

Yes no problems. I have full coverage insurance also with no issues

Ive never understood that one.. How you can register/insure/etc a bike without the endorsement. Most of the people I know that do ride dont have an endorsement :lol:

I dont get it either. Wish they made it easier to get one via the DMV. You have to take a written test then schedule a road test on their schedule (usually booked months in advance) then get your endorsement. Its too hard for me to get out there twice during the days and wait for hours... I could take the MSF but... meh

over here in Los Lunas i took my written test and my driving test the same day they usually schedule them a few months apart because they think that you cant ride and that you need to get used to riding. I told them i wanted to do them both on the same day and they let me

Whats an endorsement jk. probably should get one eventually but seeing the cops try and catch you is pretty fun.
