Welcome everyone. I picked up this 91 BMW 325i and will be documenting the progress with you cunts. As it sits it's a 2.5 liter straight six, autotragic, porno red interior, rwd sex machine.

Here is the car in question the first time I saw it.

Here she is where she will be for a while.

Project numero uno is getting this fender and the rest of the front end off.

Here are some shots of the new motor. As it sits its ob2 but will have to be converted to obd1.

Got a big box in the mail today. Should be everything electronically to convert the m52 to obd1 (- the o2 sensor) and hook it up to the e30.

Got a new radiator for a m42. I went with this because its a little smaller and it has a built in over flow tank that will eliminate the giant overflow tank of doom in my engine bay.

More progress

Thank you Sean Dysphagia for all your time and patience with my stupid questions. You are awesome and together but we got the motor out in 6 hours. Thank you to Turbo Dan as well for letting me use your hoist for the second time.

M20 motor its time to GTFO

Obligatory engine bay picture

update: just bought another complete engine!

m50 OBD1 with all the damn parts I need to covert mine plus all the dress up parts mine was missing for 300 bucks!I paid damn near that for a oil pan and sump lol. The car is in Denver so Ill go get it Wednesday.

pics..

Drove 16 hours + 3 hours in Denver to get the new motor. Came with every accessory and sensor and a mint power steering rack for 3 bills. The new steering rack will change the steering pretty dramaticlly going from 4 complete turns end to end to 3.0 turns end to end.

The champion XB went 1100 on 4 tanks at 20 bucks each and the tank is still full. PS anyone who thinks stretched tires are unsafe can kiss my ass cause even with the car 2.5 inches off the ground not a peep from the tires.

just picked up a 98' ZF transmission from a 328i same transmission thats in a e36 M3.. another trip to Denver FTL.

Will update more here in a few

No just the m50 motor for 300. I got the tranny for 200 from a different car.

Yah 16 hours, we were just cruising at the speed limit, I was really afraid of the tires doing somthing but all for not. Me and ***** Jeff always take these wacky long road trips.

we will be shaving the engine bay starting tomorrow, I have all the wiring harness ready for a sweet tuck.

It will be slammed on the ground I have some 16x8 0 offset rims soon to be at my door. A nice little stretch on the tires and strip the tint.

Next winter I rebuild my 2nd head with a s52 m3 cam and maybe we turbo it.

here are some pics of the inspirational cars so you can see the direction its going.

Here is what the engine bay will look like.

A little progress

Removed the dash, the heater core and the rest of the air conditioning lines. Got rid of the air bag stuff. The M50 has been stripped of its head and all accesories which will be on the m52 as soon as all the gaskets I ordered get here. The obd1 valve cover is at plating at the moment. New rims will be here wednesday and I will be learning to weld here in a few days!

Here is what a 19 year old BMW carpet looks like. Pretty cherry.
