We fixed the fuel leak on Lil Red today, took it out to horse whip it. On turbo only it was fine, but when I sprayed it what sounded like a huge exhaust leaked developed. Based on what we were feeling I was sure we busted a hole in the header, but it looked fine. We looked at the waste gate and found what we think is the problem. I have never had a problem with a waste gate, so I was not sure if this is the problem.

There is nothing at the bottom of the valve, you can clearly see about an 1/8" gap around the bottom.

Ha, I see that now lol. First time I posted I was looking at a tiny ass picture on my phone. There definately shouldnt be a gap there. What gate is it?

It looks like you have a bad spring. Have you opened the top at all to check the spring?
