I live down here in the Gulfcoast (military, not by choice). Anyways, there's an annual week long event called "Crusin' the Coast" down here. It's a classic car lovers' dream and a tree huggers' nightmare as most of these cars are running open headers or straight pipes, just like back in the day when Detroit's finest roamed the streets. For the entire week Gulfport, Biloxi, and Ocean Springs, MS are overrun by all these muscle machines. The cool thing about this event is that whatever you have, whether it's a car from 1901 or a 6 sec drag-car you can drive it on the street. The cops still roam around so people don't get too crazy (i.e. burnouts, street racing, etc.) At the end of the week they have a night of drag racing at Gulfport Dragway but unfortunately this year it got rained out, so no drag racing pics. That sucks because people bring out some fast ****ing cars. Here are a few pics from around town, this is only a tiny fraction. If you want more info you can go to Cruisin' The Coast.
