GOALS FOR 2010

well guys the season is over, i hit my goals for the season on the very 1st day of racing this year:beer: So for this year im going to be setting my goals just a little higher, im not to sure exactly how far i should put them out yet so ill wait till the new year to post up some times for my self.
Lets hear your goals for the 2010 season of drag racing

I wanna get my 10pt in, painted, and cert'd for 8.50, parachute on, new wheels and tires and a sunoco hood. Also wanna get my stereo all finished up. Then I wanna run a 9.4x and would like to see 150mph here in the 1/4, driving to and from the track.

My goals for this year were accomplished as well.

I really wanted 11s on the 175shot and radials this year but could only muster mid 12s on the 125shot and slicks. I am hoping to get into the 11s this year on radials ... we'll just have to see.

Well see i have issues so i will probably blow my stock bottom end trying to go low 10's. This year was to go 11.50s, next years will be to have a consistant 11.50 car! If i go faster than 10.50 i will be satisfied, not!

I am looking at making one full on pass in ABQ then probably run it elsewhere.

Not this again. LMAO. My goal is to Win one No-Bull race. Wait, that was last years goal too. You know what they say. Maybe next year.

As far as the car goes, it is already too fast to be legal so I am laying off for a while. I am shooting to have everything dialed in and run a consistent 10.20 on pump gas and a 100 shot of Nitrous.

I don't have any desire to upset the track personnel and am not ready to tear into the car yet. I'm not saying I'll never do it, this just isn;t the right time.

Goals for 2010:

-Make the Civic run consistent 13.5s with the turbo kit I'm making now.

-Get my truck to consistent 14.5s with some tuning and parts here and there.

-Get my AE86 on the road so I can have fun cruising it.

Get my ass back to the states and build me a race car. I want a 383 LS1, six speed/Th400 (not sure yet), 9", 10 second 89' IROCZ.

Well, because money isn't coming in the way I would like it to, I am going to just strap the turbo on the Busa and leave the engine stock for now. I might push 8psi and shoot for 260-270hp on 101 unlead but will probably just limit it to a measley 240hp.......

As far as an ET, I really don't care but a 9 anything will be fine.......as long as JohnVon always sees my tail lights I'll be content.

I'll even bring out my Turbo ZRX for a few rides here and there.

Edit: Oh, and lose 80lbs from myself so you all don't have to hear me bitching about it anymore....LOL!!
