Reason for sale: After much deliberation I have decided to sell my Spec V. I had originally planned to hold onto this car for quite some time and turbo it.
Factory Features (I still have the original window sticker):
2.5L qr25de
175hp, 180ft/lbs
6 speed manual transmission
Helical limited slip differential

Modifications:

Pioneer head unit W/ Aux input cable (for ipod/Mp3)
Pioneer Sub/Amp
Koni Yellow Struts w/ Sportline lowering springs
Powerslot Slotted Front Rotors
Brembo Blanks Rear Rotors
Hawk HPS pads (all 4 corners)
Gram Light 57c
BF Goodrich KDW's
Brand new clear corner headlights
New AJUSA Headgasket
New ARP headstuds
Brand new Optima Redtop
Maintenance History:
Oil changed every 3,000 miles with either Mobile 1 EP or Castrol syntec (the true synthetic German blend). I have a recent oil analysis from Blackstone that shows the motor is in PERFECT health.
Tranny/Diff fluid changed at 59,401/83,201 with BG Synchroshift II (best fluid for Spec V trannys)
Spark plugs changed at approx 60,000/80,000 with NGK Iridium IX (gapped to factory spec)
Drive Belt changed at approx 68,000 (still in great shape, no cracks)
Air filter changed to AEM intake (w/ Dryflow filter) at approx 60,000 and clean again at 78,500 with AEM kit.
Clutch fluid flushed with DOT 4 at 59,401/83,201.
Total brake job at approx 89,000, pads changed to Hawk HPS, Rotors to Powerslot Slooted and Brembo Blanks(authentic) and fluid flushed with DOT 4. Still plenty of pad left on front and rears.
Radiator and coolant flushed at approx 65,000 and again at 87,667. New Nissan radiator cap installed both times.
Clay bar and waxed 2-3 times per year (just done last month), with weekly washings
Factory struts and springs replaced with Koni Yellows and sportline springs at 64,000 then installed Ksports coilovers at 80,000. Car has the springs back on again at 89,000.
The headgasket and headstuds were replaced at 81,000.
Overall:
Mechanically the car is a 10/10. The car needs absolutely nothing, and the clutch still has plenty of life left. Nothing maintenance-wise is needed whatsoever. I was planning on holding on to the car well past 200,000 miles so I have maintained it perfectly. The car burns no oil, and loses no coolant. Again the Oil analysis reflects this. The tires that are mounted on the Gram Lights are basically brand new. BF Goodrich KDW's with 90% life left.
Body-wise the car is probably an 8/10. There are no major defects. The car has probably 4 dings on it due to college parking lots and people opening their doors into my car. The paint is in very good shape for 6 years old, but it does have its share of rock chips on the front bumper/hood. A bird did hit me 2 years ago on I25 at broadway on the passenger mirror causing the paint to peel there.
I am the thirdr of the vehicle and it was purchased in 2007at 59,500. Again, I really do not want to part ways with it, but it is simply not practical to hold onto. The car is located in Albuquerque, NM(87114).
The best way to contact me is through phone or email. Thanks!!
Erik
