I ordered a set of ACC 5.0 floor mats from 50resto.com for my 89 GT. The package they came in say they are 85 mustang floor mats. Is there a difference from the 85 to the 89 or are they shaped the same for the most part? I ask because if not then I'm gonna call 50resto.com tomorrow

The only thing that will be different is the colors. The mats are all the same and fit the same, but the grey for an 85 will be different than a grey for a 90. thats the only difference. they have a color guide by year on their website.

Like Mike said, you should be good to go man. Floorboards didn't change from 85 to 89.
