don't think he was calling you out about the Camaro being real.. It's more to the fact of the track/traction/experience thing.. a high hp "big tire" car -vs- a high hp "small tire" car are on diff. ends of the playing field.. opcorn: looks like that shop was a dealership at one time where is that at?

umm its a mechanical shop now used to be a roller king and he put so where is this so called 1000 hp camaro and it has 10inch slicks

k, thanks for answering that... keep in mind @ 2800lbs (weight of the camaro) i'm guessing here stay with me.. to go a 10.10 here it takes 623 flywheel HP if you deduct aprox 20% loss you come out to around 499-500 rwhp.. anywho.. @ 1000 crank hp that car at that weight would run around 8.63 +/- (as far as the weight of that car goes,, it's a gutted camaro with a sheet metal dash) I'm sure everything has been taken out of it.. anywho,


all i'm saying is 10.10 is quick but not quite 1000 hp worthy.. <-- you will get called out on these small details on this forum..

it's cool that you have grown up around some cool cars but you need to be humble, there are some fast, fast and faster "Street" cars on the Forum.. just giving you my :twocents: take it for what it's worth :thumbsup:

yeah turbo 400 and really heavy car and it just would hook the greatest and we only launched it a 4500
