for those of you who dont know ed backer is the best Motorcycle engine builder in the areah. i payed his ass over 2k for my last engine rebuild. well my 2nd gear broke and after 4 months i went back to him to see about rebuilding my motor again he's been dodging me from what ive seen. well i decide to do the motor my self only to crack it open and find that the parts i paid him to order and install havent been installed. the main thing i see right now is my crank was supposed to be lightened and balanced.. Its not.

HAYABUSAZONE
the first crank has been lightened notice the shinney ness of it and there is only one gear
now the second crank has not been lightened its stock and thats what my crank looks like. 2 gears and dull
im going to tear the hole motor apart now, and see what else im missing.
im trying to find my receipt and will probably take him to small claims court:copstop:

well part 2 is he built mr albq's bike as well. As some of you know his motor blew up because the cams were not tightened down. they came loose and grenades into 3 pieces causing catastrophic failure; destroying the whole motor.

also the weight savings is 5 lbs from lighting the crank but that is rotational mass so its like loosing 20 lbs.
if my gears are not under cut like he said ill be more then pissed, ill be homicidal

Are you sure he didn't put a light weight crank in it instead of having the stock one lightened? a new light weight crank won't be shiney from cutting the porkchops down, was your crank coated? how did you determine the balance on your rotating assembly?

all light cranks look like that there are no factory cranks that come lightened. ive done my home work, besides he would of had to buy a new crank which would of cost 1,100-2000 and i didnt pay for that i paid 300 to have mine lightened

Oops my bad, quickest. Fastest wont be till next year. I did it backwards this time, usually I go for trap speed then worry about et. Damn FWD mentality, that bitch is hard to break, but I am getting it.
