From what I have read...absolute garbage. A lot of fabbing to do, if you don't care about crap like that then they're ok. Also the actual turbos are junk. A lot of guys use the hot parts and buy quality parts such as ic bov and/or name brand turbo. Basically if you want to frankenstein your set up you can get away with using them. But remember a full functioning turbo set up will run more than 900 bucks. Also I am not fond of supporting China's economy so no ebay turbo kits for me.

Your going to hear alot of mixed thoughts on ebay turbo kits... My project car is built on ebay parts and is still running strong after over a year and a half of racing. It has at least 300 pass on the kit and about 90% of them were 13 second passes..... Nothing on the turbo kit has gave out but it has snapped axles and blew up a transmission lol. Overall I am happy with the turbo kit. I have a 13 second car that I spent less then $2000 INCLUDING THE CAR. :pimp:

I would start with reading the sellers feedback!.Maybe people that have bought their kits have posted up their experiences. The 3 ebay turbo kits i have delt with were a nightmare and didnt fit worth a shit, but with patience and some work you can get them to work.

I've read a couple of things about the ebay turbo kits... the only bad things I have heard about them is..
1. The knock off turbos aren't that great.
2. The wastegate needs to be replaced because the ones they come with fail on you and overboost.
3. Their headers always break at the welds because of improper support for the turbo.

Every other part doesn't seem to be a problem.
This information was found when I was thinking of buying and turbo-ing a 240sx.

I had an ebay turbo kit on the civic.

Worked damn great!

The worst part was piping it.

After a good 8 months of beating the crap outta the car every day, the b16 finally gave.

But the ebay t3/to4e was still good! No shaft play and still works!

The ebay blow off valve and wastegate worked great. The bov was by no means the fastest reacting bov, but still worked ok. The wastegate never gave me any problems whatsoever. And as of the manifold, well, it was a cast iron manifold and worked just fine.

There's my experience with ebay kits. A damn fun run for the whole $600 dollars I spent on that kit to blow a motor up!
