Should be interesting. 427 LSX, PRC 285 heads, 232/246 cam. Ysi is being spun to max. Made 917rwhp on a 3.1"/7.25" combo last year, now has a 2.75/8" combo along with a bunch of other stuff. Lighter clutch, light driveshaft, etc. It will be interesting.
Steady AFR really. Numbers aren't really important as much as getting the tune good. Too hard to street tune it.
Any gains over last time would be nice, so 918+. Swapping to 2" headers and a 4" intake over the next month or two so it isn't like these are the final numbers. I just want to see what it is doing now. Friend did 1012rwhp on a novi 2200 on a 416 a few weeks ago so would be nice to beat him just to rub it in.
9.7:1 pistons. It is all 6 bolt block/heads. All coated. Motor shouldn't have an issue. I got the fuel system. If anything octane will hold me back as I'm just going to run 91 for now. If I throw vp109 or some good gas I bet it would make sick power.
Who knows. I'm hoping for ~1050 but you never know. Belt might not like it, or something else. Seems I never get clean dyno runs.
Hard to say on the octane part since it has dual meth nozzles dumping a ton of meth. Not straight 91. Another local made 1026 on a Camaro on 91 and meth on 12 degrees.
Yes it has a direct drive belt setup.
I'll dyno it with the intake on and once the tune is good I'll pull the inlet off the blower. Last time it made 958 no inlet. Solid 40rwhp gain. I got a short radiator with a 4" inlet pipe on the way along with 2" headers for later.
