i just got a downpipe made for my turbo and now im not boosting at all! so i took off the downpipe and it went back to normal... so any qugestions? cuz the idiots welded the downpipe to my cat

Yeah man that sounds like your down pipe is to restrictive. Usually downpipes do not affect boost pressures unless there is a sizing problem with the pipe. I have only seen it one other time and the car actually blew the down pipe off of the car along with all of the exhaust seals in the entire exhaust system. That is alot of pressure coming out of that turbo and it likes to breath. Post up some pics if you can I would like to see how they welded it to the cat. is it a high flow cat or a stock cat.

yeah for real cause you wasted 200 on tran now another 100+??? your just throwing your money away. slow your roll with buying shit. you need to research it more. i am gonna get a dp made but i have a friend with the exact one so im going to measure it exact to get it made. do shit like that if you want to save money and get maderal bends not ones on the pipe bender cause it make your pipe smaller on each bend
