See now you made it worse now I'm looking up a ysi blower lol just another thing to debate about hahahaha the blower is it a vortec ysi???
Yep. That blower will make some good power and have lower temps than ANY screw blower around plenty of room to grow and won't be laggy with the compression you have.

you've said it twice about the compression ratio 11.0:1 is pretty good i'm assuming.

it's high.. but you won't have to run the blower as hard to make power and that will lower the intake air temps as well.. all you are doing with any power adder is tricking the motor into thinking it is bigger than it is and making it more efficient ..

Is that the normal compression ratio ford has had for the mustangs or an improvement? Sorry this is my first ford so I'm learning all about fords now. I was always a chevy girl! lol

With that compression ratio its probably best that i am using a high octane so i dont get the knocking right?

88-91 should be fine at this elev. your comp ratio is a point ish lower up here anyway.. fyi high oct. is 101 and up.. when we get into motor oct. that is a whole other can of worms..

From what I was told a ysi blower is meant for a built motor. Thats how I ended up with a v3-si which I was told is better for stock motors or very little done to them. If your looking for 600hp you can do it with the baby blowers. If you know later you want to go into beast mode I would go with the big blower or turbos. But you still have room to grow with the little blowers to. I would just research it and go the route you want to go. I would have like to stayed N/A but you almost have to go F/I to make nice power here.

What is it you like more about the turbo?
As long as it's done right the heat won't be too big of a deal. Turbos are nicer to the motors than blowers and nitrous, actually helps prevent piston slap in most cases.

Also, as Scott mentioned, my car did very well on nitrous. NEVER ran hot and I could hot lap it without a problem and run 10.0-10.1 pretty much every pass. That won't happen with a turbo car for sure. But you could spray a little nitrous to help it cool the intake temps, that's what I plan on with my new build. IMO stay away from big blowers, they are harder on parts than nitrous if you ask me.

Do the Kennie bell because it is a billet case and does not distort like the whipple and the magnason

It also dissipates heat better than the cast aluminum and the sound it makesdue to the billet case
