I had a 3.4 Whipple on my Shelby and have a Vortech on my Z06. The Shelby was funner when I was in the high gears like 5th or 6th, cause you could stab the throttle and the instant torque felt cool. 1st, 2nd, 3rd were useless even with a good drag radial. Now, the Vette has severe traction problems also, but the huge top end rush of the centrifugal is badass. In a drag race you will only use the instant torque of the twin screw on the initial hit. There after the rpms will be in the high range for each gear and the centrifugal will pull away. If your worried about low end with the centrigual, you can gear the car lower. 4.10s with a centi is pretty damn mean!
