i figured there was someone on here that knew a little some thing about corvettes my dads car has a power steering pump problem its super loud if anyone has any ideas how this can be fixed besides getting a new one because it doesnt feel lke its going out it just makes a lot of noise

Check the fluid level. If okay you'll probably need to change the fluid. Determine if it's a whine or a squeal. Spray some WD40 on the shaft bearing behind the pulley. I use the straw on nozzle and do it while it's running. Be careful.

Changing the fluid won't fix any damage that is already done to it, I.E. the whining. You never answered if it's at the correct level.
