You will be fine on stock stuff. Should be able to 1.7 60 that thing with a little seat time. I should be there if the weather holds.

The first few runs should be ok but after awhile the clutch point gets a bit grabby. Sean didn't seem to have a whole lot of issues on his but I was wondering if it had any clutch mods before he switched to his current setup?

All I know is that on both my 01 and the current bike as well as the half of dozen Busas I rode or raced, the clutch system is not even half the clutch the ZX14 uses.

If you can get a decent 60ft, 10.80s should be close.

Expect low 1.8 60' at best if you're stock clutch/gearing. Old gixer's are very easy to launch. Busa's = no forgiveness at all. Right ICBN? :seeya:

at 220 pounds with stock gearing and little seat time i would be suprised if he hits below 1.95

this is not his 1st rodeo he has raced alot more than you think, im going to say mid low 1.8s by the end of the day

Mine was stock. He should see 10's for sure on the stock setup.

when i was 100% stone stock i went [email protected], with a wheelie till the 1/8th almost every pass that was with a 1.71 60'

He is slightly lower than stock so he should be able to launch it fairly hard. With me at 280lbs suited, I ran a best of 10.86ET with the same position as BAFRAID's. That 60ft. was a lousy 1.90 but I have gotten a 1.80 at the same setting. I got WOT better on the 1.90 than the 1.80. So a 10 is not going to be impossible whatsoever.

To date the bike is slammed and the best 60ft. is still a straight 1.70. Trying to get a 1.65 this next time around but it will be hard.

Your right. It won't happen immediately but with some practice and some tips from a few of us, I believe he will light a 10 that same day. BAFRAID can launch and has wheelie skills so he won't be afraid tp push it. :lol:

Scorpion helmets are pretty good and very inexpensive. Snell and DOT. Something like around $85-$100. They are damn near the same as the ARAIs but for way less.

My old helmet is snell 2000 but the last time I was ther they told me snell 2005 and newer.
