You don't hunt so you have no idea how hard it is to get in range of animals like that (or big game here in the US for that matter). Its not like you just walk around and see them everywhere.

I am pretty sure most of us on this forum that have hunted have eaten what we killed. I don't think anyone would argue with you that killing something just to get a horn or skin to make a buck is just stupid.

ive met quite a few people that have gone big game hunting in africa...the animals are almost 100% used to feed the villages that you hunt in...you get to keep the cape (the skin used to make a mount) and the rest of the meat, skin, etc is given to the village...before you go bashing people, get your shit straight. The size of rifles used to kill those animals are rather large and its no small feat to kill one...most people that do go big game hunting are avid hunters and its still a rush for them...they dont do it for shits and giggles...asshole
