Best car I ever had as in least maintnence most abuse was a 96 grand am. I hated it at the time but I miss it now. That thing saw more air than The General Lee. Once had a guy in some piece of shit toyota park behind me and blocked me in at a party. I just backed up to his bumper, and floored it. Pushed his car out into the street and left. It was pretty quick for what it was as well. I would put it in neutral, floor it while it banged off the limiter at 4k rpms then drop it in gear. I had it about 6 months, put 40,000 miles on it, 6 tires, 2 windshields, new motor mount and an oil pan, all from hard landings except the windshields were from getting in fights. It all ended one night after I blew the left front tire around 90-100 mph on a dirt road. There was 27 feet where there was no tire tracks but it hit a large rock on the landing bending the frame around the radiator. I tried to get out to change the tire once I got it back on the road but it had pushed the fender back to where the door didn't want to open. I knew the tire was already ruined so I tried to limp it back home and made it about 2 miles before the coolant light came on. Sold it to my step brother and told him that it needed a radiator before driving it but he drove it till he burned it up. If I could find another one for cheap enough, I would pick it up, put nitrous on it and use it like overgrown go-kart.
