You'd be better to put an RPM extender on it. Did you find out what gear that Glide has in it?
Anyone have some good 3.08 gears kicking around?
I switched from a 3.73 to a 3.27 and the car is still reaching is maximum mph several hundred feet from the finish line. I'm not sure a 3.08 will be enough gear but a extra couple mph in the 1320 would be nice.

Well Trey you did say his tires were worn, why not throw on a set of 29s? For that matter, what brand is on there now? Hoosiers tend to run a bit small.
