At the No Bull meeting several people asked questions about putting in a roll cage to get certified to go in the 9's.

The NHRA rule book has very good answers and shows you several pictures of what is required. But here is the part in question. YOU MUST HAVE A FULL CAGE. Over the doors and down the windshield post is required regardless of floor or firewall.

If you have a unibody car, you may either weld to the floor or have a 6"x 6" plate on both side of the floor board and bolt them together. But you still have to have a cage.

This is badnews, no pun intended, geez, alot of people who are an authority on the NHRA got that one wrong, even the chassis cert. guy.
PS thanks for spending the time and the definitive answer.
