Track is really coming along in the prep this year. I want to say thanks for the hard work on the track to the owners.

Had a great time all weekend with the TSC members. Everyone is going out this year with new bests and faster times.

TSC had built a pretty great drag racing street car/bike community in the last few years.

Anyway on to the technical stuff.

Barely worthy of a new best post but never the less it is a small gain.

9.06 @ 153 on the turbo busa.

Spent most of the day trying to figure out why the bike wasn't shifting when I bumped the shit point a "bit". My 100 RPM bump turned out to be a 1100 RPM bump. I did manage to get two ok passes, a 9.2 first pass and a 9.06 pass later. Still have more work to do to get that 8 sec pass before the bike gets more fuel and boost for next season.

Congrats on everyone elses new bests, there is some scary cars rolling around the mile high streets of Alb.

That thing is ****in sick. Anyone who EVER had any doubts about Sean's riding, you should have seen the pass before the 9.0 when the front wheel kept lifting when the boost came up!!! Three times?? Very good piloting man. Congrats on the new best!!!

You guys are about 10+ years too late. Used to be a Kawasaki Z1-R turbo running 8's I saw out there a few times. It was a guy maybe mid 40's riding it, I believe it was a 1428 with a bunch of MTC stuff, alcohol injection, stretched but it had street tires and he rode it out and home. I want to say he went 8.80's but not positive, definately ran 8's though.

Then I may have to be the next guy to go 8's on a street bike in Alb. I will be going a tad faster than 8.80's and do it on a stock motor and gasoline next season. I wish more people would bring out the fast bikes, we really need to get the bike dragracing scene going in NM.

bikes were HUGE back in the 80s and early early 90s here in ABQ, there were some FAST guys running around but most were bar bikes, ive never herd of the one your talking about but im sure we will here more about it in a few days IF it was a STREET bike and not a BAR bike.

Did I ever tell you I went 11.50 on a bike with a stock turbo in the late 80's/ early 90's. Back then, that was fast. Especially condiering the Vega was doing very well to even think about running a 12 on the bottle LOL The bike I rode was a wheelie bar bike and any descent rider could bust off low elevens with it.
