So i finally got a solid 9 second pass in the Camaro. First run was an 1/8 mile hit, went [email protected] and lifted/got on the brakes, et was [email protected] lol. Second pass, I saw 6.34 at the 1/8 and decided to stay in it. Went [email protected] The 60' on both passes was the same, 1.53. I don't know why the car isn't launching hard, but I think there's a few tenths on the table just in suspension. This is on 19-20psi.

I'm up in the air about putting the rest of the cage in and certing the car for 8.50's. Not sure if I wanna turn it up more or not. I have a few hundred pounds I could take out and prolly a few more lbs of boost. Maybe a little nitrous too. Not sure yet...

hell yeah that was a sweet pass. Always fun to line up with a friend, thank god for me that your car took a good while to spool. I would have been pissed if my first 9 ever was a yellow slip:lol:

I think you should get it certed.. as you have said before the car is getting to fast to be constantly blasting it on the street. I think with a good solid 1.4 60' you will be close to a 9.50 and with a 100 shot on top of that you just might get some 150mph traps which would be badass.

THEN it would be parachute time:pimp:

Congrats sean, you bastard. You have officially bested me. I need to get back to the track.

I also vote you add some gas to the car. Take out a bit more weight and hit some 8's.

High 9's / Low 10's is about all you want for a fun Street car. The cost goes up exponentially just to keep the car <9.99 legal at the track. If you want to go quicker, pick a class and build something competitive so you can get a little return $$$ on your investment.
