It was a great day and wow, there was only maybe 20 people running? Perfect for a relaxed day of racing. Congrats Art!! That 9 is certainly there with a little help.

And congrats to my boy Mike and his mostly stock 07 GSXR1K . He ran a best of a 10.04 twice, 10.05s, 10.07, 10.08 all at 141mph+.
once we get a power commander on it with a tune i'm sure he will be 9.90s consistently:pimp:

But then he'll be just like that other guy........ah.....what's his name......I forget.....ah.......hhhmmmm ....... well, anyway, he'll end up only running 10.15s....... and that's not what he wants. :ciappa:

Here is FTP7777's slip on his bike and on 01smokes bike as well as their head to head race.

the 3rd pic looks damn good
Do I need to blow them up a little?
with a 160lb rider that can ride his ass off
That's why he is 167 suited, he has no ass.
it takes alot of practice, and i have a few good guys in my corner that tell me what imn going wrong

:bsflag:

It takes horsepower bitch...... :headbang:
i could do it on a 1st gen busa clutch, ive seen it done so its possible!
Yes by a lighter rider. To move more mass you need to utilize more RPM(HP) to get going. But in using this high rpm, unless you have a slick and wheelie bar, you can't just dump it at that RPM, otherwise massive spin or worse, looping the bike. Thus sliding the clutch ever so much to make a smooth transition into the bikes optimum hp/tq band. This where the stinking Busa clutch makes it very hard to do as well as not having the advantage of sea level air which can certainly cover up mistakes.
