We were going to build a race car and have kinda decided to go another route.


1998 Pontaic Firebird.
Car was originally v6 auto car. Interior is clothe in good shape with a few stains but no tears. This is a stripper car, no power windows, no power locks, no power seats, no t-tops, etc. Body is straight however there are a few minor dents and the clear coat is failing. Car is teal green, with dark grey interior. Have a clear title in hand. Car has no motor or transmission and the mileage is unknown. Also comes with a HVAC delete panel for the firewall. Car does not have keys. Price is $600.

Aren't you using an LS1 soon? Just saying...( and yes i know it's not the body, but nonetheless its the motor)

I am not sure but this is the rearend from jeds car. The rearend is also for sale on ls1tech. Some has a good deal here on a roller for 2500. That rear is worth 2000 for someone looking to get one.

Yes it is. I paid $600 for it that is all I want for it without the rear, as long as you come get it. Or I will sell it with a set of 17x9 and 17x11 TT2's with tires for $1200.

Any chance you would know if 3rd gen brakes would bolt up to this rear?
Also you say it has 5/8 wheel studs. Will stock wheels bolt up to them? If not, what wheels will fit?

I do not know on the brakes. Wheels will need to have the holes drilled out a little depending on the wheel.
