A few weeks ago the Supra started running a little hot @ times. I figured thermostat,i was wrong. So I pulled the thermostat out, and decided to flush the system in the process. And noticed quite a few air bubbles with the car idleing and it would gush a bit when u would rev it. Needless to say it wasn't the thermostat. Santa brought me an HKS head gasket, ARP head studs, and a Gates timing belt kit(with cam, crank seals and tensioner). So this is what i have been doing on my days off. Crank and cam seals were wasted, they just kinda fell out.... Should be ready to rock and roll for 2K10! :pimp:

Wow too bad it is a 6 cylinder Supra. You should put a 350 Chevy in it. Just think how fast it would be then.

buhahahahahahahah!
LOL Reminds me of when I worked at the San Mateo Checker many moons ago, some dip came in with a MK3 supra and was talking about how the stock motor went so he swapped in a SBC and now it is fast....funny part is it was a 305 TPI :gay:

Its nice to see a MK3 getting some loving, any pictures of the whole car?

I know nothing about Supras. Is there a difference between this motor and say Cisco's? Maybe a different head? Completely the same? Completely different?
About the same displacement. If im not mistaken Cisco's 2JZ has bigger bore, shorter stroke. But not by alot. 2JZ has way more technology, more potential and factory twin turbos. I would say in laymans terms it more like comparing a TBI 305 to a LS1. Same idea just much more technology and potential. Im not knocking 7M's im just saying.

Good luck with the house man! My AE86 should be heading over to Racefab/Solid pretty soon here too.
