Shit man, hope you did not do some major damage. Been there with those crappy plugs on my old 06. I was running a turbo set up on a built motor and the 4 plugs went bye bye and looked samilar to that one pic you posted. Ended up having to pull the motor. The design is horrible and Ford actually changed it I believe on the 08's. Are you getting any smoking now? Talk to Mike Kollander at Quarter Mile Mustang. He is a vendor on here and knows those engines very well. Good luck!

If it burned the plug that bad you may have burned a valve.. if it sounds like it sucking air that is a tell tell sign that you did.. are you spraying a dry shot?

That shits leaner than the body fat count on a crack head!!!! Gotta be a dry kit. Details on the nos kit? does it have the vacuumm T that goes to your fuel pressure regulator? That is some serious meltage! +1 scott, I bet it burned a valve or so, hopefully didn't burn up a ring or piston. How many times did you spray it mang?

it is a wet shot i have not done a compression test but suspect it could be a valve issue
two more questions.. how much are you spraying (jet sizes if you will) and what heat range are the plugs that burnt? i'll see if i can help you figure it out.

fuel is 28 and nitrous 53 and my plugs were stock (autolite HT) dont know the heat ranged let
a 25 point spread from fuel to nitrous is going to be the problem i think... let me check into it.. what is your fuel pressure at.. 32-40 psi?? what kit is it??

I have been down this road many times with customers. If you are lucky enough to have just caused minimal damage, then you are looking at a burned valve and damaged exhaust valve seat, possibly a bent valve if the melted strap particles were passing through and the valve caught it while it was closing. These little 3 valves have EXTREMELY thin and weak pistons in them. Just because its not blowing smoke or saturating the plug with oil doesnt mean a piston isnt hurt. It could have broken a ring land. A leak down test or scoping the cylinders is really the only way to tell for sure, but the last time I saw a plug like that, it ended up causing major engine damage! take the intake pipe off and open the throttle blade and run your finger along the bottom of the intake or look in there with a flash light and if you have a puddle of oil, then you might want to go get a bottle of jack daniels man! I have a leak down tester with the special adapter for the 3 valve heads and a bore scope if you would like me to take a quick peak for you.

seems to be no oil on the surfaces, would you recomend a compression test??
