6 cylinder models are in the low to mid 20's, SS models are low to mid in the 30's, I'd imagine the Z/28 will be in the low to mid 40's.wonder what the z28 will actually end up costing...
Ya they gotta keep the price low on the z/28. As long as in comes in under a gt500, but comparable to a challenger srt8 price-wise, they should sell like hotcakes.6 cylinder models are in the low to mid 20's, SS models are low to mid in the 30's, I'd imagine the Z/28 will be in the low to mid 40's.
haha, classic 1st response.
Lol, 50k for a camaro. Not gonna happen, as i said before, price of the Z/28 will be mid to low 40's. Lol, and Z06's run in the mid to high 70's btw. People don't buy Corvettes because they are faster, they buy them because they have a passion for the car itself. Thats like saying, why would someone buy a cobra for 20k when they could buy a much faster LS1 powered Camaro for 9k (sorry, I had to). :lol:the z-28 at a price of $33,000, will be faster than a c6 corvette for $25,000 less. ad as fast as a z06 which is $50,000 or more, what a bargain. i think if they build it, the price range will be near $50,000 or over.
If that's true I'll buy one. :boobs::money:New Z-28 will be the bad boy!!!:headbang::headbang:
Motor Trend article. They've seen the clay model. This baby will go into production. But we'll have to wait till end of 2011 to get it.
Sale price is est. $22k to $33k
A new hood features a large, forward-facing scoop. Underneath is the 6.2-liter supercharged LSA V-8 that also powers the Cadillac CTS-V. As we have already confirmed, this is quite a powerplant, delivering 556 horsepower at 6100 rpm and 551 pound-feet of torque at 3800 rpm.
As the Z/28 will weigh 200 to 300 pounds less than the CTS-V, it may nail 60 mph in 3.9 seconds and run the quarter in the very low 12s. This Z28 could be the fastest Chevy ponycar since the legendary ZL-1-powered COPO 9560 Camaros built 40 years ago.
