Edit, vid posted below. Car made 472/425 pump gas boost only, 531/500 something pump gas 50 shot, 637/649 150 shot. Does great on the street above 30 on the 15" mh's.
Just joined, thought Id share what I've been up to. Used this for my daily while in school and working full time, paid it off, parked it for a while. Worked for a close friend of mine here in St.Louis at his shop JMB performance. Anyway, got bit by the big after building some nice cars/trucks and decided to make one of my own. Ill save the build list because its long, boring and its still a neon right? haha. Short run down: .040 block, wisecos, crower rods, t04z 67mm, 2 stages of n20, 2 stages of meth, bunch of other junk. Built to be a streetcar. Dot 235 M&h's, pump gas, no cage, full interior no weight saving. Not sure on what power its going to make yet. Should be upper 500, low 600 with the boost in the upper teens. Big thanks goes to the owner of JMB for all of his help and insight. Thanks for looking.

Im used to the neon hate. There are about 3 guys in missouri with srt4s that I will talk to, the rest I avoid like the plague. Thanks, I like how the intercooler turned out.

Sweet. What ex manifold is that?
DNP. Was trying to cut corners a little at the end to stay in budget, went for it instead of the AMS manifold. A well built piece but a total PITA to fit the WG and downpipe.

Nice work! Looks like it should be a beast when its finished!
Im hoping. Built a similar one without spray, put down 526 hp, went 11.7 at 128.
Nice car man GL with the build.
Thanks, have to finish the second gas tank and shes ready to spray.

wow! very clean.. good job..
Thank you. Other then all the -an fittings and line my favorite is the intake. Thermostat housing has been cut and clocked 45* to leave the #1 intake runner clear for the n20/meth,then I made the n20/fuel manifolds on my grandpas lathe 17.5 5/16ths bore was tough on 1"/1" square stock, love how it turned out.

I am not real big on the neons but that car is super clean and that build up is the shit! That will be a very respectfull street car for sure!!!
Yea I own it and I understand that.haha. The way I look at it is, Ls1's/03 cobras run the streets around here and this is going to be a little surprise for them this summer. Keeping it on the low with the local boards.
Nice! There is another quick red SRT4 on the forums as well. Welcome.
Yea, after seeing the other guys just had to share mine.

One Bad Neon on Scene. I bet it runs.

Welcome to TSC
thank you, Ill post some vids and stuff after I finish up the fuel on the n20. They don't make black line that will take the pressure and I spent too much time trying to keep it all black, just I finished up spraying some stainless line flat black litterally looks exactly like the nylon hose, going to install the black fittings tomorrow and shes ready to tune.
