I bought A steel powerglide for 75 bucks and found out it will not fit in my luv. I just want what I payed. It is the old school ones and the guy said it worked but had been sitting around 8 years. PM me if your interested. Thanks.
get some numbers off the casting, then goto one of the 55-56-57 Chevy car websites and try to sell it there. I'd bet it's the same tranny used in 55-57 passenger car and pickups of that era. and it ain't steel it's cast iron almost but not the same.
